Painted in spring 2024, ‘On the way to Woodhall’ is of a particular Hawthorn tree that always catches my attention, close to the entrance to Woodhall Hotel in Linton (West Yorkshire). This has been painted on the front and back of a sheet of glass in acrylic paint with the sky and background painted on a separate layer to add depth. this painting captures the end of a spring day with the sunsetting behind the blossom tree and daffodils standing to attention.
Framed in a white wooden frame, this painting is ready to hang. Measuring 22.5 × 33cm (framed size).
